The Blush Trend: How To Dress Transition Day to Night

Hello Babes! Welcome back to THE NEW Blessed and Fabulous. It has taken forever to upgrade the new site and make sure that every little detail is perfect! Leave a comment and let me know what you think of the makeover!  I hope everyone enjoyed entering  the contest with JORD wood watches! Congrats to our winner– Hannah Patterson! I hope you enjoy your beautiful wood watch as much as I do.

I received a comment suggesting a post idea for a transitional look that is both great and fabulous inside and out of the office. This one’s for you.

Remember this darling little blush number?

It’s back.

+ I’m showing you how you can transform this look for two opposite outfit settings.

To the office, and after out on the town.

I personally spend way too much time figuring out what to wear, and it usually just ends up with me styling a second outfit to completely change into before I go out at night. It’s annoying and completely unnecessary. It’s hard to find the balance between not being too overdressed during the day and being horribly underdressed at night.

It is actually not all that complicated to find an easy day-to-night look. When shopping, keep events like this in mind and buy versatile main pieces with options to layer and accessorize the outfit. For work, I would suggest wearing a blazer or sweater to make the look more appropriate.

When it comes to accessories, you can pretty much wear as much glam as you prefer. Even if it’s glitzy and bold, you can get away with it for day and night! For this look, I have kept it simple and light, with a tiny, cross necklace, gold bracelets and dangling earrings.

Wear heels that are professional and comfortable enough for work, but versatile so that you can wear them out later. Nothing is worse than a pair of uncomfortable heels. We all know that pain.. If you either can’t walk in heels or just absolutely hate it, don’t torture yourself! Throw on some booties or wedges.

My go-to for dressing down a look is throwing on a cute, lightweight top over a dress! Another option would be to simply just remove the blazer and wear the dress simply, as is.

The main goal here is taking a look and either glam it up, or make it more casual. It’s always best for your outfit to look effortless, so why not make it effortless. Don’t stress so much over what’s currently trending. If you like it, wear it.

What better way to dress down a midi dress than to add a cute cut-out graphic tee?

Wear an oversized top or tie it in a knot at the waist. With longer skirts like this, I’ve found that shorter tops are more flattering than long. With longer tops, you take the chance of creating a long, slouchy look that isn’t always the most flattering for your body type, but it all depends on your style.

This super adorable tee was purchased from Molly Green, and is made from such a great material! It is soft and stretchy with the words “Moon Child” written below the center moon image. It is now sold out and I can’t find it anywhere, BUT I have tagged similar options in the outfit details below!
