Hello Babes, Happy Friday! Welcome back to Blessed and Fabulous! This week has been exciting with the ever so talked about Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Im telling y’all, this has been one of the best sales of the year. So many incredible items at such great prices! Stock up while you can!
On the blog today, I am sharing some style inspiration for your cute/casual summer looks!
Crop tops have been in and out of the fashion world for quite some time now. We can look back on the 1980’s and see them in the iconic work out Flashdance. We have also seen many celebrities in the past to have adorned them, like The Spice Girls!
Guess what, they are back and better than ever.
Paired with shorts, this top is the perfect summer outfit. For the fall transition, you can pair it with a pair of high waisted jeans! To dress it up, this top would look great with high waisted dress pants or a full skirt. For the gym, it can be paired with leggings and a sports bra to wear during your workout, or after when you’re leaving the gym. It definitely has quite a bit of versatility.
This crop top was purchased from an online boutique, that is now sadly out of business. It is a dark grey, knit type with a twist at the bottom of the top. This top is literally so flattering. The top is made by the company She + Sky. In the outfit details below, I’ve tagged similar styles that I love.
For fit, I am a size 36, M. This top is a Size M, running true to size.
Summer in Alabama means one thing: HEAT. Anyone who has ever been here during this time can relate. It is very hard to style yourself for the heat when wanting to still dress up. This summer, I’ve been living in these shorts! I bought them from a local boutique, Lavish Boutique. I believe they are now sold out, but they are made by the company Illa Illa USA. In the outfit details, I’ve tagged similar styles I love.
These baby (millennial) pink shorts are high waisted and adorned with a red floral pattern. The best part, ruffles and swiss dot. The textile of the shorts is made out of a swiss dot weave, creating the cute dotted pattern on the fabric. aka, my favorite!
The ruffle hem along the bottom gives the shorts a fun flair, and allows you to revisit your child days of wearing ruffles on everything. (Ruffles never go out of style, right?)
For fit, I am a Size 6, M/L. These shorts are a size S, running a little big but I believe they are meant to fit flowy.
These ever so adorable bow sandals took me a while to hunt down. After seeing one of my favorite influencers sporting them, I fell in love. For all of my life, I’ve always either had a bow in my hair, on my dresses, or even on the back of shirts; Now, they are on my feet. These beauts are designed by Sam & Libby, and sold at Target.
When first released, customers went crazy and snagged them up while they still could. They were sold out online when I first wanted them, resulting in me driving to 4 different local Targets to purchase them.
Eventually, I found them and they have been my go-to slip on sandals for the summer. Many take a glance at the shoes and believe I’m wearing house slippers, but theres no mistaken the cuteness of the pair.
These sandals are only $25.00 and also come in three other colors! (I LOVE the striped pair!)
stay blessed and fabulous
