It’s about that time! There are just under 2 weeks left until Christmas, meaning you need to prepare that Holiday outfit and finish up your shopping! Keep a look out on the blog for last minute holiday gift guides. I will be posting them later this week! The local weather channel continues discussing the possibility of snow around Christmas here in Birmingham, Alabama and we are all just shocked. Could we possibly have two snows before New Years? This never happens!? Typically, snow will barely dust the ground or ice over around February but never before the new year. It’s a Christmas miracle, Lol!
Today’s post is highlighting an easy, winter look, perfect for Christmas day and Holiday parties.
Prepare for the holidays by shopping quick and smart.
This entire outfit, minus the shoes, was found at one of my favorite retailers, Asos. They have a massive, wide-ranging variety of styles and prices from affordable to high-quality products! I have yet to purchase an ill-made item from the company. One of the biggest reasons why I love this company so much is that for $19/year you are given express 2-day shipping. Fast shipping is a MAJOR factor in my shopping habits. No one likes having to wait on an order to ship to your door, but at the same time, online shopping gives you the access to many more items you wouldn’t find locally and the option to search for discounts. Every time I find a product, I search on Amazon to see if it is available on there so that I can get the 2-day prime shipping!
Okay, it is definitely obvious I am a millennial, just from that.
Millennial and proud.
This is the Balloon Sleeve Sweater by Miss Selfridge in red. It is so dang soft and nicely constructed. With a triangle cut-out on the back, the sweater is very flattering. It has a v-neck style and balloon sleeves with a band bringing it all together around the wrist. The sweater is not crop or oversized, but it hangs to about the waist line with a cut detail for fit. With the vibrant red sweater, I have paired a Gingham Mini Skirt by Plain Studios with frill detail. This combination makes me feel festive and ready for the holidays! It fits nice and consciously, with the closure button being a little tighter than the skirt was in the hips. For someone with a smaller waist than hip size, this turned out perfectly.
These lace-up heels are by Marc Fisher and purchased from DSW. The wider-heel allows for more comfort. With the lace-up detail, you are able to customize and tie the strings up any way you would like. This pair comes in black and a beautiful burgundy color! They are currently on sale for $50 at DSW. You can shop directly using the outfit details below. Now let’s talk about the snow white pair of statement earrings. For only $13, you can grab these and have a pop of neutral for every outfit! They are the Asos brand and have white tassels underneath an equally white circle stone.
