How To: Be Fabulous While You Workout

Hello Fab Babes! Welcome to Blessed and Fabulous. Today, I am going to be sharing with you some tips on how to look fabulous while you work out!

I know what you are thinking…”Full face of makeup, hair in a perfect style, accessorize.” No. I am not going to tell you to make sure your makeup is on point or your crop top is the perfect fit. There is no reason to obsess over how you look when working out. After all, it is called working out for a reason. You are working out, that means sweat, and lots of it.  You are more than likely going to look a little bit rough if you are putting in the effort. That’s okay.

Actually, that’s great.

Want to know how to be fabulous while you workout?

Here are a few tips I have for you.



1. Get up and get ready.

The hardest part about working out is not how much weight you can lift or how many miles you can run. The hardest part is actually getting up, getting dressed, and going to work out. Once you make it past this first step, things get a little simpler. You can’t look fabulous while working out if you never even go to the gym!

Get motivated.

It does not matter how you find motivation, just find some! Set a goal and push yourself until you finally achieve it.




2. Style Your Wear

Workout clothes don’t have to be boring. Yes, there is great quality athleisure out there that is still stylish. My favorite brands of athletic wear are Nike, Adidas, Lululemon, and Ashy Bines. Ashy Bines has my vote for the best affordable leggings, by far. I will link a post later on showing off my current Ashy Bines collection and giving you a full review. The leggings worn in this look are Lululemon, which i adore! Lululemon has turned an athleisure company into a lifestyle– incorporating workout classes, healthy living, and fun activities into their company. I love this.

3. Pump Up The Jamz

Why should exercise be boring? If you don’t enjoy working out, you will dread doing it every time, and eventually you will quit. Never quit. Create a playlist to help motivate you and create a fun, butt-kicking environment! I am sharing one of the workout playlists I have put together that pumps me up while working out. Turn up the music, dance around, and enjoy yourself! Dance like no one is watching.

4. Think Good, Feel Good, Look Good

Like I said earlier, there is no need for a full face of makeup. If you enjoy wearing makeup, that’s fine, do what makes you happy. If you’re looking for that inner radiance to shine through, you won’t find that confidence in makeup. Natural is beautiful, natural is sexy. Wash your face, throw your hair up in a high-pony, get dressed and go!

Confidence is key.

When you feel good, you will look good. And if others have any disagreement, who cares? Walk into the gym with your head held high. There may be others in there that have larger muscles than you, but don’t let their judgement or your insecurity be in the way of bettering yourself. Hit the weights hard, run fast, do it for yourself, not others. Trust in yourself. The simple feeling of trust from you to you is the one thing that you can hold on to, and count on to carry you through your workout.

Once you accomplish your goal, you will feel good. I promise. You may be a little sore, but thats great, that is progress.

(LOL) I have now water proofed this pair to avoid them turning a dull shade, but i still recommend to be extra careful where you step! These 7/8 crop leggings are LuluLemon brand, and they are a knockout! Yes, those are pockets!! Pocket adorning leggings are one of the greatest inventions on this Earth. Say goodbye to that annoying arm band holding your cell phone and invest in a pair of leggings that feel great, look great, and work great. There are more inexpensive choices, but I promise you, you will not be disappointed with the great quality leggings from LuluLemon.
